Dec – 2011
Firstly merry christmas and happy new year! I bought a rugged flex jr cast on trade me a couple of months ago… I have taken it out a couple of times before, using it for slow jigging. Not much luck. Well, I went out yesterday, towards cape colville in the gulf… we were fishing ledger rigs in 48 meters of water.. using convention gear.. nothing much was happening, so I brought out the “spring” attached a slow jig.. 1st drop, hooked up on a 1kg snapper… crew stopped laughin`… 2nd drop, hooked up on the biggest snapper, weighed in at 3.95kgs…took about twenty minutes to land. It was quite a effort… no foregrip you see.. 3kg braid..I took photo of it, but they must have done something, cause no pic in camera….I am happy with the rod…more of a challege to use… – Tony, Auckland
Dec- 2011 – Snuck out for a quick fish yesterday and caught 5 snapper with the emmrod. What the emmrod
lacks in its inability to set the hook on a strike it makes up for it’s sheer conveniece in re-rigging, untangling and bring the fish to the yak! – Rex, Wellington
Dec- 2011 Already I can not count how many fish I’ve caught using these rods, loving them – Tamai, Ruakaka
Dec- 2011 I’ve fallen in love with these rods, I want more…don’t tell the misses – Tamai again
Feb - 2013 – Hi Dennis – We tried out our new little FANTASTIC rod yesterday out at Omokoroa. What a wee ripper of a rod. Cheers - Thanks – Jason & Richelle.
Feb – 2013 – Somehow I forgot to leave feedback until too late on mine, so thought I would leave as a question here. I love my packer rod and reel, and so did a lot of people who saw it on holiday. Great for wharf and kayak. My dad wants one now. cal777
